Filters

A Filter appears as a dropdown menu in the header of your Asset Bank. It is a global filter which when active will apply to all areas of the site. For example, applying the global filter "Landscape" will only show landscape orientated assets in all areas of the site.

Filters are created and configured in the Admin > Attributes > Filters area. For more information please see our support article on Filters.

Filter Bar

Beyond version 3.1819.14 users will see the Filter Bar on any browse or search results page. I list of attributes, configured by an admin, allow the user to "filter" down the results that are returned when browsing or running a search.

Filter Bar gives the user more flexibility over their filtering options, allowing the user to add or remove search parameters then and there. The attributes users can filter by are configured by an admin user on the Admin > Attributes > Display Attributes > Searching > Filter Bar page.
