Attribute Strip adds the value of any text-based attribute to the corner of an image upon download. Great if you'd like to add photographer credit, or a short description to downloaded images.
To configure Attribute strip, navigate to Admin > Download Options > Attribute Strip.
Configuration
The following options are available:
Attribute: Choose one of your text-based attributes.
Position: Where the attribute value will be placed on the image (NE, SE, SW, NW):
Prefix: Choose a prefix character (such as ©) and/or a text value.
Font: Choose from 6 available typefaces and font size between 8 and 50pts.
Usage types: Select one or multiple usage types for which Attribute Strip will be applied upon download.
Example Use (Photographer Credit)
1. Create a new text field attribute named 'Credit' in Admin > Attributes (Skip this if your Asset Bank already has a credit or similar attribute that you'd like to use). If you use the Asset Types feature, ensure that this attribute has been selected for use with any asset types you need.
2. Create a new usage type in Admin > Download Options named 'Photographer Credit', select for Media Type: Image, then SAVE. If you'd like to offer different sizes for this usage type add them now.
3. Head to Admin > Download Options > Attribute Strip, choose your 'Credit' attribute, a position, prefix & font, then select your 'Photographer Credit' usage type and hit 'SAVE & APPLY'.
4. Edit an asset and add a value to its 'Credit' attribute & save. Download the asset choosing the 'Photographer Credit' usage type. The value of the 'Credit' attribute will be visible on the download or preview.
