Featured Assets

Asset Bank allows you to select an asset within your Asset Bank to be featured on the homepage. Featured assets can be selected by administrators when visiting an asset view page and selecting More > Feature On Homepage

For images, you can simply crop & zoom to select the perfect size. Recommended sizes are for your featured images are 2650px width and 1200px height.

Featuring multiple assets is possible - Asset Bank will rotate through the ones you've selected each time the homepage is visited or refreshed.

Featured assets are only visible to a user with the correct permissions to view that asset. If you would different groups to see different featured images on the homepage the images will have to be in folders/categories with group-based permissions.

An overview of all assets currently featured can be viewed by navigating to Admin > Content > Featured and clicking the 'Managed Featured Assets' link.

To remove an asset from this set, click on it to be taken to the asset view page then choose More > Remove From Homepage

Featured Videos

In Admin > System > Featured Asset Settings You can choose for featured videos to autoplay on page load, or load in a player containing transport controls (play/pause/stop) and a volume slider.

Autoplaying videos have no sound, and will loop indefinitely. This option is best suited to small, loopable videos. 

Only videos below a maximum length can be featured. This length is dependant on the Featured video duration limit in Admin > System > Featured Asset Settings . Our support team will be happy to help you set this up correctly.
