Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out important guidance that all users of Asset Bank must follow when using the application. It applies to all users, including administrators, end users, guest accounts or non registered users and aims to ensure that Asset Bank is always a secure, safe, and reliable environment for everyone. By using AssetBank, you agree to follow this policy, which includes reporting any illegal or harmful content.
Prohibited Activities
To keep Asset Bank safe and compliant with all applicable laws including The Digital Services Act, and the Discrimination & Equality Act, users must not:
- Break the Law: Do not engage in illegal activities such as gambling, distributing illegal content, hacking, fraud, or advertise non compliant or counterfeit products.
- Share Harmful Content: Do not upload or share offensive, defamatory, or harmful content.
- Send Spam: Do not send unsolicited bulk emails or engage in phishing activities.
- Spread Malware: Do not upload or distribute viruses, malware, or other malicious software.
- Overuse Resources: Do not excessively use CPU, memory, bandwidth, or storage.
- Bypass Security: Do not try to bypass security measures or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
- Disrupt the Network: Do not disrupt our network with activities like denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or port scanning.
- Exploit Children: Any activity related to child exploitation or abuse is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.
Enforcement
If we suspect a violation of this policy, we may investigate and take action, including suspending or terminating services, removing content, and reporting to law enforcement.
Reporting violations

If you need to report content to us, please provide the following information:
- Reason for Report: Explain clearly why you believe the content is illegal.
- Location of Content: Provide the exact URL(s) where the content is located. Include any additional details that can help us identify the content.
- Your Contact Information: Include your name and email address. (Note: You do not need to provide this if the content involves serious offences like those mentioned in Articles 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU.)
- Statement of Good Faith: Confirm that you believe the information you are providing is accurate and complete.
