Hi Matt,
You can set up 'export templates' and decide which attributes you want to include. You can then use these templates to export only the attributes you care about.
You can access this via:
Admin > Attributes > Display Attributes (tab) > Exporting (tab)
After they have been set up, you can access them on the export page.
