AI Search and Tagging Features
Our new AI powered search and tagging features will help you discover the best content for your campaigns, sales pitches or other projects. Whether you use a natural language search, review similar images or start a search by dragging an image from your desktop - these features will allow you to connect with broader content options more easily - helping you discover the best fit for your task.
1. AI Search Results (matching images based on visual content)
Simply perform a search, and if you don't see something you like in the standard results (which match on metadata), then you can explore using the "AI results", which will match images based on AI's interpretation of image contents. This will surface additional options that may not have been tagged that well.
Supports natural language search
AI results convert the search you enter into 'meaning' and then finds the images in Asset Bank that are closest in 'meaning' to that. So you can enter longer natural language search inputs and it will find the closest match.
E.g. "Happy couple sitting on a beach at sunset" would find the nearest matches to that search input.
Supports different language search inputs
English is the primary language supported, but AI results will also match German, French or Spanish search inputs.
E.g. "employés de bureau" would find images of office workers (assuming they are in your DAM)
For image matching only
AI results match image assets only, so are not useful for other file formats like video or documents.
2. Similar Images Search
Looking at an image you like? This tool lets a user find out if there is a better, more impactful, image they can use for their task. They can just click 'Find similar images' to see the other options available.
3. Search via image (upload/drag and drop)
This allows you simply drag and drop an image into your Asset Bank to see if you have similar images. Ideal if you’re looking for something comparable to use in a campaign, or if you want to see if you have the original version of a file. And definitely worth checking before you spend money on new assets!
Limitations
Why am I seeing things that do not seem relevant?
All three AI search related features listed above bring back the nearest matches (e.g. based on the search input, or the image you want to see similar options for). This means that if you do not have anything that similar in your Asset Bank, it will still return the nearest in similarity in any case - it just may be further than you hoped.
AI Metadata Features
These features examine the images you upload and automatically generate metadata for these, saving you time and making sure assets are more discoverable.
1. AI Prompt led Metadata
Fields, like Alt Text or Descriptions, can be configured via a prompt to generate metadata on upload. E.g. an AI Alt Text field can have a prompt like: "Describe this image in 20 words or fewer." Then this metadata field is auto-populated for all new uploads.
Please note, this describes what it sees in the image and does not have any knowledge of specific customer domains. I.e. it does not learn from any existing metadata.
Hosting Location Support
The AI metadata feature is supported across most of our hosting locations. At present, it is not available for environments hosted in our Hong Kong data centre due to OpenAI service limitations.
2. AI Auto-tags
This uses AI to automatically add keyword tags to image assets.
We support four types of Auto Tags:
- Object tags - Identifies objects in images based on shape, size, colour (as per the example in the image above)
- OCR tags - Identifies any text in images.
- Face tags - Identifies whether an image contains a face or not.
- Landmark tags - Identifies famous landmarks in images.
Auto-tags accuracy
This can be dialled up or down in the admin area (Admin > System > Settings > Auto tagging Settings)
Credit Limits
All AI features run on monthly credit limits which are included in the relevant packages and should be ample for most customers. Additional credit blocks, if required, can be purchased by contacting our support team.
Privacy
Our AI Features use Google Cloud Vision and OpenAI, who are approved sub-processors. Each of our sub-processors go through a rigorous assessment procedure for their suitability around security standards. This is part of our ISO27001 (Information Security Management) suite of controls and each sub-processor is reviewed annually on an ongoing basis. As per our Data Processing Agreement, none of the data we provide to them will be used to train any AI models.
