If you are running a synchronisation and the receiving Asset Bank runs out of disk space there are two options to resolve the problem...
1. Backups taken prior to the synchronisation:
- Restore both backups
- Resolve the disk space issue on the receiving Asset Bank (this may involve locking the current storage device/s and adding a new one from the Admin > System > Storage Device page).
- Retry the synchronisation from the sending Asset Bank.
2. No backups taken prior to the synchronisation:
- Correct the disk space issue on the receiving Asset Bank (this may involve locking the current storage device/s and adding a new one from the Admin > System > Storage Device page).
- There will be a batch of images on the receiving Asset Bank that have no metadata associated with them (the batch that was being added when the disk space ran out). These need to be found and removed. The search page enables you to find assets that aren't in any categories, this is often the best way of identifying these redundant images (if you can find them through the search you can use the export functionality to perform a mass delete of them). If you can't find them through the search page please raise a support ticket.
- Retry the synchronisation from the sending Asset Bank.
