To create a watermark you need a high-resolution version of your logo (or whatever you want to use as the watermark). This needs to be of a transparent png format with a solid white foreground and a transparent background. (If you cannot get hold of your logo in a format like this then it can be created from any high res image in an image editing tool like Adobe Photoshop).
The size of the watermark doesn‘t matter too much as it is automatically scaled by the system; but something around 1000px across gives good results.
Once you have created your watermark, it needs to be uploaded to the following location on the server on which Asset Bank is hosted (replacing the existing file named: "watermark.png").
[tomcat]/webapps/asset-bank/WEB-INF/manager- config/updater/customise/images/standard/
- Login in to your Asset Bank as an admin user.
- Go to Admin > System > Developer
- Click the ‘Overwrite‘ button to copy across your customised files into the main application.
- Go to the home page and refresh your browser. Your customisations have been applied.
This will go through and regenerate all the images in the system to use the new watermark. Depending on the number of assets this can take a while. Once this has been started it will run on the server (so no need to keep the browser window open). It's good to start this running at the end of the day and then check the results in the morning. When viewing the updated assets, remember to refresh your browser to ensure you do not see cached images.
