When a user performs a search, or browses a category, they see a list of thumbnails for the assets matching their search. The information shown for each asset, under the thumbnail, depends on which attributes you have configured as 'display attributes'.
For example, by default the results will show the thumbnail and the Id of the asset (and perhaps its title).
You can choose which attributes are displayed on these pages by selecting one or more of your attributes to be 'display attributes'. To do this, log in as an admin user and then:
- Go to Admin->Attributes in the left-hand menu.
- Click on the tab 'Display Attributes'.
- Use the form to edit the 'display attributes'. You need to ensure that the amount of text shown for each asset is not too long - otherwise the text will spill over the bounding box in the search results. You can do this by entering a value for 'max display length' (which is the number of characters to show) for attributes that can have long values. Or, if you know what you are doing, you can change the CSS styles so that the bounding box is larger.
- You must reindex all the assets once you have finished configuring your 'display attributes'.
