For the launch of our auto-upgrade program, we are focusing on getting users onto the most recent version where there will be minimal disruption to your interface. This means that we aren't automatically applying the new full-width layout, as this is quite a significant change from the existing layout that your users are comfortable with.
There are a few areas that will have different/additional features that it is worth bearing in mind:
As outlined in our Featured Assets article, the process for adding and removing your featured assets has been updated to give you more control over the exact section of the image you want to be displayed. Whilst your current featured assets will not change, you will need to use the new instructions to make changes.
When you publish a lightbox you are now given the option to add a password that your recipients will need to enter in order to gain access to the assets.
When you upload a transparent image, such as a .png, then the system will now display a checkerboard background to represent the transparency. Images uploaded to the system prior to the change will not have this automatically, it will be necessary to manually regenerate the thumbnails.
Whilst not a visual change, the ability to use shift+click selection is a recent addition that can make it faster for you to select multiple files that you wish to download or edit.
When previewing a PDF file it is now possible to click on the preview image in order to load an interactive version of the PDF file that you can browse through easily.
In addition to these changes which are more noticeable, there have been a range of performance improvements, security updates, and bug fixes. Read more of our latest features.
