Asset Bank is fully supported on a wide range of devices and web browsers however some users may experience decreased functionality when using older versions.
Devices/Operating Systems
Asset Bank is a web application and therefore supports a multitude of devices, such as desktops, mobiles and tablets, provided they have access to a web browser. However, if you are using a very old device it's possible that you may encounter issues. Below is a list of minimum versions for various platforms/operating systems that Asset Bank supports:
- Windows >= XP SP3
- macOS >= 10.12.1
- iOS >= 10
- iPhone 5 and above can upgrade to iOS 10 and can thus trust ISRG Root X1
- Android >= 7.1.1
- Ubuntu >= xenial / 16.04 (with updates applied)
- Debian >= stretch / 9 (with updates applied)
- Java 8 >= 8u141
- Java 7 >= 7u151
- NSS >= 3.26
Web browsers
Asset Bank supports the latest versions of these browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Apple Safari
- Microsoft Edge
Our recommendation is to use Google Chrome for Asset Bank. Please read our previously posted article on browser support, to learn why Google Chrome is best for browsing.
Please note your browser must have javascript enabled to use most features within Asset Bank. All modern browsers have it enabled by default, so there's usually no need to check.
Please note that Asset Bank no longer supports Internet Explorer (IE) 9, 10 or 11 as a browser option. Microsoft has also stopped applying updates (including security updates) to these browsers as well.
